I'd expect his spiked club to be heavier then a book, since those things do take up a lot of inventory weight for an acolyte.
...Which is usually why I attack with fists as an Acolyte unless I got like a healing rod or an actual good mace-type weapon. I do 1's to Familiars anyways otherwise, heh. Anything above that I'd just Teleport away from.
