  1. I am so happy for these two. :> I know things might not start right now, but still, Bene seems accepting of the idea and that is all I could ever wish for.

  2. Well, even if it doesn't work out, the fact that a gay relationship is being depicted is great.
To be honest, it kinda bothers me when it all boils down to ships.

  3. So Bene is a confirmed Bi? xD can we get a three way with Ellsy?

  4. Amen to bi! Bi or pan people should be taken more seriously. People usually find them weird but I honestly feel like their sexuality works in the most natural way possible since it's about liking someone for what s/he is not for what s/he carries between their legs.

Anyways, Prontera church doesn't allow "love" to happen anyways and I wonder how it reacts towards homo. If Bene starts this relationship, he'll have loads of issues... :/

  5. In before more drama with Bene and Priscilla.

  6. Also, now that I remember, Lloyd confessed his... erm... 'love' to Gwenneth. So I'm pretty sure the act of loving another individual is allowed.

Unless I'm fluffing up my memory and he's actually not part of the Prontera church.

  7. Beat was talking about "love" inside quotes.

  8. Also, neither Lloyd nor Gwenneth were Acolytes or Priests. They're Crusaders. They're connected with the church, mostly due to their believe, but also independent. They might have other rules for their social life.
Bene already had bad experiences with how the church is run. Priscilla mostly. I wouldn't be surprised if he chooses the life of a Monk (if they follow other social structures) or if he becomes a runaway Priest, or decides to join the church of another city. We already know that the Geffen Church isn't that conservative, seeing how Acolytes are learning Mage Spells - and there was this one nice little scene between Gwenneth and Bene that explained that problem~

  9. Endiro's right, I didn't mean love as a feeling but the consequences of it being reciprocated, dating. Both asexual (literally dates and no sex) and sexual relationships (the "friends with benefits" as we see lots of aromantic people having). But I'm with rutana, I think Crusaders have it differently, by that I mean they don't make a celibacy vow like we saw on Pheldrin's flashback before...
Even if they did have, no matter how wacko a Church might be they can't forbid a feeling, so they wouldn't do a thing about lithromantics or any other person who's merely in love. Lloyd might be scolded for something like harassment if Gwyn let big people know about his behavior, though. XD
