take note: unofficially adopted, parents don't let her call them as mom and dad, it's just like taking a boarder in your home, but without the rent.. there's nothing wrong with it. it's because Carlchemist keeps on calling her "adopted sister" that's why people get the wrong idea.
When I was looking up information on this sort of relationship, it seems people are quite divided on whether it's acceptable or not. In some countries it's even illegal, regardless of the fact there's no blood connection.
