They're made to be so comfy... and a person will lay in them forever and ever as their corpse pretty much decomposes. Inside will be pitch black six feet under, yet there's still those soft silky sheets... And a pillow where you lay for all eternity. It's a scary thought when you think about it, considering almost every coffin will be crushed and crunch up due to the weight of all that dirt above it. But I suppose it's supposed to be that way because you're in a coffin because you're dead.
Noo, this place is obviously based on a medieval church, so the coffin is made of rock, not wood, and it's not buried at all, just left laying there (and I guess they may seal the room when it's full). But otherwise, yeah.
