When I first made that "I hate yaoi" comment, I had only a very crude understanding of what "yaoi" was. Now that I'm a bit more knowledgeable, my thoughts have changed and I don't hate it anymore. I'm not suddenly a super fan or anything, but I can appreciate slash pairings and see the beauty of the underlying romance in yaoi relationships.
